- The fiber enables the production of very fine yarns with higher yarn tenacity and working capacity compared to 1.3 dtex fibers.
- It is suitable for all major spinning technologies.
- It serves as an ideal blending partner for fine cotton types, fine wool types (such as ELS, cotton, cashmere, and merino wool), and filaments (such as polyester, polyamide, and cellulosic filaments).
- It results in more even yarns due to lower imperfection levels.

 

Fabric mills, dyers and finishers benefit from the fiber properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell - Micro in the following ways:
- The fiber is best suited for woven applications.
- It offers versatile aesthetics, ranging from cool and silky to peach skin fabric appearances.
- It provides higher dimensional stability and improved washing stability compared to viscose.
- It is certified under OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1.
- Up to 30% PEFC™ or FSC® certified TENCEL™ Lyocell - Micro fiber is eligible for GOTS certification.
